Welcome to Flamingo Cricket Club
Following a year of change, the Flamingos Cricket Club is looking forward to 2012 with renewed energy. We now run a single Saturday side, playing in Hampshire Cricket League Division 3 and a friendly XI, The Milburys, who play on Sundays.
After many years of dedicated service Robin O'Grady and Dick Batchelor have stepped down from the committee, as chairman and treasurer respectively. We thank them both for all their hard work and look forward to seeing them up at The Holt in the future where they can finally relax and enjoy the cricket!
Adrian Heath has been appointed chairman, Brian Crockford as treasurer and Rob Worley as Vice Chairman. We wish them all well in their new positions.
As we look forward to 2012, all of our thanks go to everybody associated with the club. Whether playing, umpiring, scoring, preparing the square, cutting the grass, making the teas, uploading the website or maintaining the clubhouse, your efforts are much appreciated. Without you, there is no Flamingo Cricket Club.
